オフラインでも使える地図アプリ

昨日はソフトバンクの通信障害により、普段どれだけスマートフォンに依存しているのかを改めてしる機会になりました。
私は影響なかったのですが、ニュースを見ていると「待ち合わせができない」「道を調べられない」「決済ができない」「（タブレット導入の学校で）宿題ができない」などなど。
道が分からなくて交番で聞いて紙の地図で調べる...。なんか三丁目の夕日の世界観ですね(笑)
そこで急に思い出しました、オフラインでも使える地図アプリ
一番オススメは「MAPS.ME」です
世界中の地図やガイドをDLしておくことができます。
DLファイルは、例えば大阪だったら25.2MBで、Wi-Fi環境下でのDLをおすすめしますが、
DLしてしまえば通信を気にせず使えるのでオススメです。
これはOpen Street Mapをベースに作られているのかな？
Google Mapも地図のダウンロードができますが、地域によっては出来ません。
（日本の地図はできません、恐らくゼンリンさんとの著作権の関係でしょうね）
無料でDLできます
調べているとHotel情報はBooking.comと連携もしているとか。
個人的には地図も見やすくて好きです。

私もこのアプリをすっかり忘れていたのですが、次に海外行った時には使って見たいと思います。
もしもの時に備えて別キャリアの2台目の携帯の契約をとか、モバイルWi-Fiを...なんていうコメンテーターがいましたが、それをするくらいならこういうアプリを入れておけば、損はしないかと。
ちなみに、marble+もいずれはオフライン対応させたいなぁとぼんやり思っています！
